Rain doesn’t come sideways in the Lowcountry. It just sits on you. Wet and windy and completely unbothered.

Today in the studio felt like the kind of shoot where nobody wanted to leave. Patty showed up in jeans and sat in that leather chair like she’d been doing this her whole life. Anthony in his jersey number 23 found his angles by frame three and never looked back. We had a girl holding a flower-covered frame like she was already hanging in a gallery. And somewhere in the middle of all of it I ended up upside down over a chair myself — because sometimes you just have to get in front of the camera and stop being so serious about being behind it.

That’s what happens when you strip the pressure out of it. You get real. You get weird. You get something worth keeping.

I’m back in studio tomorrow, Friday May 10th, 11am–1pm and I want to photograph you. No experience needed. No specific look. Just show up and be a person — that’s genuinely all I need.

DM me to claim your spot. Walk-ins aren’t guaranteed, so don’t wait.

If nobody comes? I’m making prints. Either way I win. But I’d rather have you in front of my lens.

FINAL LACOSTE PAINTING!!! All my lovely friends took a trip to Milan last quarter, so to hold onto this forever I painted a scene of us our first night there! Heavily inspired by @gardnerillustration , my professor that I had the absolute privilege to take in Lacoste! (Acrylic painting, 24"x 18" on canvas)

Huge thank you to everyone I was abroad with, you all were my favorite part of traveling :) I am going to continue to be super sentimental about this forever, ilysm🥹💕
