November in a nutshell💞

Today was fun. I was carrying flowers. I LOVE TO BUY MYSELF FLO-

They were for Kyra. I seldom buy myself flowers. They die. @studioelico, advice on how to maintain longevity of said flowers would be nice though.

What I found most interesting, was the non verbal responses. I could bet a 2$ bill that by the look on their face, they assumed these were gifted to me

The sincerity in their gaze and the not-so-subtle appreciation for the “gifter” as they projected a smirk of admiration for the wholesome experience they thought I might’ve had today was sweet

Like sugaaaaa

But wrong.

Little did they know, it was me. The gifter -

and not who they notably assumed was the gifted.

That’s my brother. He was always the gifted twin.

But that’s beside the point,

Point IS

These experiences are cute. They flip the narrative. They validate the notion that our mind really truly IS the curator of our reality, and that we will forever hold the pen to our own stories.

To those who sm:)ed at the flowers today, I’m curious where their mind wandered. Mine dysfunctionally wanders in pursuit of a somewhat unrealistic scenario.

But that’s a story for another time. As for rn, if you’re down in the dumps as I kinda was this week,

Buy a bouquet of flowers, walk around the town with it, and take notice of how people react to the gesture. It makes for an uplifting afternoon! 🌸
