When you prioritize being deliberate and intentional, everything changes. We “on go” for sure, putting everything to the test. When you look at the real facts… The direction you should go becomes incredibly clear… go find water. Here are some facts about Bass that we can all put a little more emphasis on. The natural world goes by rules that are a bit more straightforward, so it’s important to keep some perspective. Survival, Growth, Reproduction 1-Bass want to get larger so they can pass on their genetics. 2- Bass are ambush predators who feed by inhaling the water around their target having the most success from a hidden position 3- Bass are cold blooded…warmer water-higher metabolism so, the more they have to eat. 4-Bass are habitual, often relying on predictable areas for their consistent success when feeding. 5-Bass are opportunistic and will literally eat anything….. (to be continued). There will be a list to reference, but for now this is only for the ones who watch the video. If I have an influence, let it be your motivation to go experience more, learn more and enjoy everything else around you while doing it. #fourthofjuly fireworks provided by nature this year, along with an insane amount of “me time” on the water when it’s not exactly comfortable, and the boat traffic makes things sooooo much better for catching, along with the major cold front after super hot days made fishing here much more productive. Hear this the first time. Taking chances, pushing your own skills and measuring up to your own standards, isn’t exactly easy… but it sure beats staying inside, even at 107°F or even during the most insane lighting storm (no edit, it was indeed impressive)…. There are always things to learn, but it’s up to you to go seek them. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise because often your strongest asset, is your intuition. No one will want you to succeed more than you, so keep on casting. Book a lesson at Duenorthfishjng.com or reach out. 1hour lessons at $40 and group boat position classes start this week, limited space available. Reach out for details… and if you can’t seem to produce breakers# talk about @livingstonlures #gofish #fireworks #natureisbeautiful style the @finxrods ending was a lot of fun

What a #mothersday indeed! Might as well start kicking the footage, but if there’s one thing that’s for sure…. These are very important days to be on the water. Tons of information can be gathered quickly and the opportunity to try something new, is always presenting itself. These days should begin with finding ACTIVE fish, using a lure you are already confident with, THEN tie on something you’d LIKE to catch one on, such as a @livingstonlures #viper6 or #walknboss2 . There are far too many variables to figure out while trying to understand a new lure or technique, so don’t beat yourself up if bites are at the minimum. Remember, the goal is to add to your confidence, not leave you doubting everything. NEW TRIP OPPORTUNITY!!
Glide bait/new technique specific trips for 4 hours, now available for $300 (up to two people). Hope you all had a great Mother’s Day, we hope to see you soon! #education #fishing

It’s the time of year to put everything to the test, even #FullMoon activities … most of the result are not what you typically hear about. Remember, this is nature. Bass are only concerned with a few things. Reproduction, hiding, and getting bigger. In order to do this safely and effectively, they generally are seeking perfect locations to feed and otherwise remain safe. They are opportunistic feeders, so when they are in a position that they feel comfortable, they’ll pretty much eat anything… so, it doesn’t hurt to take away all their senses, but capitalize on using lures that they can actually find using their sense of feel and their ability to hear very well underwater. And remember… The way they smell (bass), is by using the pores in their mouth. Until they eat it, they really can’t taste it at all… But isn’t that what the hooks for? Get smart and keep on casting #hookset #education #technique @livingstonlures #glidebait
