Senior year... So much to write about...
I'm so so so thankful that God gave me such an awesome year... especially after such a tough one. My mom has repeatedly described my senior year as EASILY the best year of school I have ever had. I had so many once-in-a-lifetime experiences, met such amazing people, made a ton of new friends, grew much closer to old ones, and so much more. Let's do a little recap:

My senior year started with my tireless grind for All State. Countless hours spent in the practice room working on those pieces. Countless hours also spent in the chamber room working with the chamber choir. What a joy to sing with such talent every single day. We did district auditions, where I got 2nd chair, then had our fall concert for choir, and then it was my 18th birthday, which I spent with my parents. I could not ask for better parents. We then had homecoming, and we sang the national anthem for the homecoming game. Right after that was region auditions. I placed 3rd. Then we had region weekend. It was a good one. Then I worked hard and auditioned at Pre-Area... I placed first. I'm so proud of that audition. A month later we had area auditions, and I'm proud to say that I made it to the All State Mixed Choir! Then we had Anastasia, such a great experience, and then I went to TMEA. Absolutely life-changing. Became friends with some awesome people that week. Then the Klein Chamber Choir went to Madfest and we got a Performance of Distinction award, an incredibly high honor. Then I went to ACDA and performed again with the All State Mixed Choir. After that, I conducted a performance of Demons Run, my original composition. Then the Klein High School Chorale performed at UIL and we got all 1s across all 3 choirs (mixed, TB, treble). We also received a Performance of Distinction award at Celebration of Excellence. I then committed to the University of North Texas to study Music Education and Vocal Performance. We then had a stellar pop show at Klein, a great choir banquet, and then I went to prom! After that, we had our spring band concert, and that brings us to today... State Solo and Ensemble. Thank you all for making this year a good one.

OK I PROMISE THIS IS THE LAST POST RELATING TO TMEA/ALL STATE!!! I just wanted to take the opportunity to show my 2024/2025 road from the SFA all the way to the Winspear Opera House. I could go on for hours about all this but I won't.

TMEA 2025!!! I had the time of my life singing in the Texas All State Mixed Choir with my incredible friends at this huge convention. I lost my voice but that's okay because I still sang at the concert. Thank you to everyone who made this such an amazing and memorable experience! I want to thank a few people in particular who made this experience so spectacular...

Samuel, I loved walking around the exhibit hall with you the other day, hearing you do your little trumpet sound, and recording you singing Lava. All these small things helped contribute to this amazing week.

Sienna, it was awesome getting to hang with you during this convention. Thank you for always telling me where you guys were when I called you since we kept getting separated, and thanks for all the great memories we made!

Eden, I absolutely loved getting to talk more with you on all the walks between the hotel and the convention center and all the good times we had at the convention between rehearsals. Thanks for all the fun memories we got to make this week!

Ella, it was great walking around the exhibition hall the other day and being able to do things like watch the Cain sound check (thanks to your dad for getting both of us in there) and also that wild thing at IHOP the other day. Thanks for making good memories with me and the others this week.

I love you all and I look forward to ACDA next month when we'll all be reunited!
