A refined take on contemporary coastal architecture, Central House brings together strong architectural forms, natural materials and expansive glazing.

The clean lines and considered proportions create a home that feels both grounded and connected to its surroundings, with a calm material palette carrying throughout the design.

A beautiful example of thoughtful residential architecture from the Mornington Peninsula.

For un Extended, Annabel Brown visits 'Returning', currently in its final week of display at Hillvale Gallery. Brown traces the tenderness with which the two featured artists, Nur Aishah Kenton ans Shelley Xue, re-create the memories and longings that encircle the idea of home.

'Specific memories are inscribed — photographs of reunions and family members gathered around the dining table — but it is undisclosed to the viewer which photograph belongs to each artist. In the otherwise austere, fluorescent-washed gallery space, Kenton and Xue decorate the walls like a scrapbook, as if the gallery were an old, sun-faded family album unbound by its staples and lovingly reconstructed.'

Read it in full on un Extended now! This article was commissioned as part of the KINGS x un Projects Emerging Writers Program 2026, and edited by Emily Kostos.

Completed — Balaclava. Considered but not complicated, soft in its expression but enduring in material, timeless but not without character.
