“Ecphoria”

A piece and experience I will cherish forever.

Thank you @kc.balletschool for giving me the opportunity to explore as a choreographer and learn so much in this year’s ChoreoLab. From the first concept to seeing it performed on stage, I’m so so grateful for every moment.

Thank you to my dancers for filling every moment with joy and whimsy. This process wouldn’t have been the same without each and every one of you. And of course the biggest thank you to my mentor @olivia_emert for not only coaching me through this experience, but teaching me, supporting me, and encouraging me for the future yet to come.

Excited to keep these fun grooves coming your way ✨

“passing, bye”

first post for my first piece ever! from pitching the idea of a choreographic workshop during student forum to seeing it come to life has been so so rewarding. extremely grateful for the opportunity to choreograph on my peers and have them bring this movement to life. being on this side of the process was eye opening and a great learning opportunity. my dancers, your work ethic and commitment to this process is what inspired me to keep creating. working with you all made this experience so fun and special.

thank you @kc.balletschool for putting together this choreographic workshop. to many more new and groovy creations in the future 🤍〰️
