♡ cafe san•pandan ft. "coffee, tea, or party?" ♡ This edition of Cafe PanDan in collaboration with @sancafe.meow and @dancerscloset.24 was a love letter to my Vietnamese heritage, cafe culture, and the dance community. By highlighting flavours like pandan and serving drinks like soda xi muoi, do I let you into my home and invite you to have a taste of what is something so ordinary to my family and on the other side of the world – and in hopes to ultimately bring us all a little closer. Thank you so much to everyone who attended and supported Cafe SanPanDan ft. coffee, tea, or party? Our hearts are full, blood rushing with caffeine, faces hurting from smiling, and bodies aching from all the dancing. Huge thank yous and endless gratitude for making this all happen: ❀ Agnes & Kori of San Cafe for all their support collaborating, sharing their space, and bringing this vision to life ❀ Amy & Kin for making drinks, taking orders, and helping with recipe development ❀ Kevin for capturing the day with his videography and creating this beautiful video ❀ Avery for organizing the block party and bringing the dance community together ❀ Bjorn & Bibz for spinning and bringing the party to life ❀ Abel & Grace for teaching Hustle 101 and showing us how to get down ❀ Daniel for inspiring me and always being down for my wild ideas It brings me so much joy to create space for my loved ones, friends new and old, and the people of Toronto together. Hey Toronto! We’re excited to welcome Lil Jiang (@lil_jiang49 ) from Taiwan 🇹🇼 to Toronto for special workshops and get down with us! Representing IPLOCKERS and founder of FEMININITY, Lil Jiang is known for her strong groove, musicality, and highly distinctive approach to Campbellocking. Drawing inspiration from Locking, Waacking, Hip Hop, Lite Feet, yoga, and DJ experiences, she has developed a style that is uniquely her own. Over the past 11 years, Lil has been actively teaching, performing, judging, and competing internationally, sharing her passion for dance with communities across Asia and Europe. Her classes focus not only on technique and foundation, but also on helping dancers discover their own voice, confidence, and individuality through movement.
