POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Baby, I’m back! With another #matchyournailsstack 💙🧸✨ I graduated in early May and this was the nail design I came up with for the occasion 💅🏼

I know I’ve been GONE for most of May and I desperately need to catch up with all of you 🫰🏼 I will hopefully be posting a wrap up for May later this week to give you a reading update!

I missed you, remind me never to go missing again!!!
💋, Nat

Is my inspiration back? I fucking hope so lol 😅 I know this post is so summery but I was working with the colors, okay? I’ve definitely been enjoying spring 🌸 Also, nooo I’m not finally reading Emily Henry. The book just matched my top 🐸

As for an update on my April’s hopefuls!

🌿 What the River Knows by Isabel Ibañez — I’ve been making slow progress, so far I’m 57% in but I’m definitely enjoying myself. I feel like it about to really quicken in pace so I might be able to finish it this month. I absolutely love the way the author describes setting 10/10. I’ve always been obsessed with Ancient Egypt and Cleopatra so this is right up my alley.

🌿Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen — I said I was going to take this one slow and I meant it lol. I’m like 50 pages in so far and have no further thoughts

🌿The Scattered Bones by Nicole Scarano — DNF. I couldn’t even get past the first ten pages, okay??? This was April’s bookclub read and only two of ten girls actually finished the book and they hated it.

🌿 Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage — I had a really good time listening to the audiobook for this! It wasn’t my favorite in the series but I gave it 4🌟

🌿I haven’t even started the Queen of Nothing so that might actually just get moved to my May Hopefuls 🐍

Hope you guys have a lovely week! Ly, Nat💋

What's the last book that had you absolutely hooked, riveted, inhaling it as fast as possible? OR What are you currently reading?

Did I love all these books? Yes. Do I know why I rated them the way I did? I'm sure past me had a better idea than present me, but I stand by them.

Some facts about these books and my reading experience:
- I still think about Temper regularly. Changed my brain chemisty despite me being like, "What the 💢," from the first page to the last.
- I finished The Predictable Heartbreaks of Imogen Finch in one sitting - literally just inhaled the book, which rarely happens for me.
- Masters of Death made me so excited for Olivie Blake's other books, even though it wasn't an absolute fave. I did love all the pieces of it, there were just a lot of distractions.
- Outdrawn was the first book I've ever read that had rep for carpel tunnel as a chronic disability - as someone who had to stop playing piano because of the twinges of it beginning, this was a nice surprise.
- I can still hear the narrator of the audiobook for Imogen, Obviously say exactly that. It was such a cute and heartwarming book.
- I had such trouble finding a copy of Night of the Raven, Dawn of the Dove that I got it right before the holidays started and just couldn't squeeze it in. I do hope to read it soon though because the library book is still on my office floor.

My current read - Sleeping Giants by Rene Denfeld - is @luceisntreal's rec for this year, and it's also giving me "What the 💢" vibes but for very different reasons. If that energy speaks to you, give him a follow!
