⛱️ July kicked off with a Jersey Shore family vacation. Jay and I finally got to meet our youngest niece and spent time with all eight of our niblings and most of our family.

🏚️ @frankygothy and I even read 𝗪𝗲 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 by Marcus Kliewer together during our travels and both of us found it highly entertaining.

🐚 I also read 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 by Jane Wong during that trip as part of a buddy read with @janandthings. We both rated it five stars!

🌊 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 by Tara Menon was another five-star read for me, bringing my total up to six books so far this year. Fingers crossed that number grows exponentially as the year progresses.

🌲 I had a blast visiting the Enchanted Forest with friends. This family-owned fairytale theme park is nestled in the woods just outside Salem, Oregon. If you live in the area and haven’t checked it out yet, I think you should change that ASAP.

📚 I finished 16 books in July—the most I’ve ever read in a single month. I have audiobook walks and plenty of backyard reading sessions to thank for helping me get through so many.

🎧 I’m grateful I was able to get out on all those walks during the cooler hours because my POTS symptoms worsen significantly in hot weather, making it challenging to spend time outside or do much (or any) physical activity.

🙏🏻 Thanks to those of you who provided some helpful tips for managing those symptoms during summer. I’m also starting a new treatment suggested by my doctor. Feel free to reach out if you’re struggling in the heat and want more info on that.

❓ What’s the best thing you read or did in July?
