From the vibrant mega show of NOLA, to the home town throw down, and ending the Six Day Spiral at my first Mobile Mardi Gras on Fat Tuesday. 💚💜💛 Another year of Carnival has come and gone. Another year of celebrating life and learning lessons about myself. Another year of reflection. Another year of pure gratitude for the all the people around me that love me, for me.

Mardi Gras is more than just beads, booze, and boobs. If you truly let the season into your heart, you’ll realize it’s sacred, a reset, a teacher, a time for community with every single one of your neighbors. Don’t take it for granted, there are so many lessons to learn in the midst of all the chaos.

*Special shout out to the @futureastronautco homies for letting me apart of the Mobile Fat Tuesday shenanigans @odalysirishpub ! I think we all know that was a BIG deal for me! 🤪

I always have a hard time defining how thankful I am to get to be able to spend a weekend at Suwannee with my best friends and 25,000 weirdos that feel like family. After having to take last year off, I realize how much more special that Hulaween community really is. A epic bachelor party weekend indeed. It’s really fun to run into every single person in the Pensacola scene around every corner you turn (and even meeting new ones that you never met at hometown shows.) Thanks to the handful of homies that did everything and more to make it happen, it meant everything to be able to show a few of them how special this community is for the first time (and apparently not the last 🎣!)

Good music + great people = unforgettable weekend ✨

Also bought my first pair of real cowgirl boots this weekend so I will be identifying as “country” for the foreseeable future. 👢
