POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s difficult to fully express what being on this list means to us at ARCA. While rankings may be flattering, for us, being able to represent Tulum among some of the world’s most talented and competitive bars in the world is everything. It’s not just about having a unique, high-quality concept—it’s about defending that vision every day, and having the discipline and organization to share it with the world.

Maybe that’s why these lists get criticized so much. From the outside, they might seem like they’re all about hype and marketing. But those who are part of it—leaders and their teams—know it’s more than that. For me, this recognition has fueled our team’s growth and drive. Sure, you can strive for excellence in any field without needing external validation, but sometimes, we all need a little push to try harder.

Along the way, you meet others who are on the same path, and suddenly, it doesn’t seem so impossible. You become part of a community. They say if you spend time with four successful people, you’ll become the fifth. I’m proud of the company we’re keeping in this circle, and anything that lifts us up like this deserves respect and protection.

Thank you to all our colleagues, critics, and writers for believing in us, and a huge thank you to our team for making this dream a reality.

Gracias, @50bestbars

The decision was a no-brained for us given @arcatulum is ranked #23 North America’s 50 Best Bars 2023. 😆
