Last October, I signed up for Ironman 70.3 Chattanooga.

We had just settled into our new house, with projects still in flux. My wife was 8 months pregnant.

Was it smart? Probably not. Highly inconvenient? Yes. Stressful? Absolutely.

Pretty much I picked the worst time to do this race but I wanted to prove it could be done, regardless of the season you’re in.

Training after we had our baby definitely took sacrifice, and I’m so thankful to God and my wife for being able to pursue this big of a goal.

I finished the race at 6:40:02. I’m happy with my finish, but Ironman & I have some unfinished business. We might just be getting started.

And whether you’re running a business or looking after little ones, it’s still possible. You got this.

Huge shout out to my beautiful wife for sacrificing the time to allow me to train and prepare. When committing to a race like this as a husband and a father it not only am I sacrificing my time, but my family’s. Kaetlyn was so supportive during this process and I’m so thankful.

Very thankful that my parents were able to make it out to cheer me on and help take care of Remi

One day - two totally different shoots - 1000+ hats worn

I would say yes it is always a whirlwind and yes it’s always fun. I’ve never pulled up to a shoot knowing exactly how it’s going to go down, but a little prep and a lot of common sense can turn into films, ads, shorts, docs, etc. that I can be proud of.

Finding success means that I was able to create something I’m proud of, and it’s worth chasing at every shoot.

Feeling incredibly grateful as I reflect on this year. The projects I’ve had the chance to work on have been amazing, but what stands out even more are the incredible people I’ve met along the way. This industry moves at a breakneck pace, but it’s the connections, collaborations, and shared creative moments that make it all worth it. I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. Here’s to building more, dreaming bigger, and working alongside even more inspiring individuals in the year ahead! 🚀

Don’t lose sight of what a couple hundred views on social media actually means.

Let alone a few thousand.

It might not SEEM like a lot if you’re used to seeing the millions of views that viral content gets, but it is.

Especially if you picture what that audience would look like in person.

These days, anything you post online has the power to reach thousands, even millions, of people.

You’d be insane to pass up an opportunity to share what you do with that many people.

If you’re starting a business, you need to make your business known online.

If you don’t, you’re passing up a free opportunity to pitch your product to a potentially massive audience.

So buckle down and start shamelessly showing off what you do.
