I know, I know….. I've been quiet. But trust me, the silence was full. 🌽✂️

This little snip is just a glimpse of what Cornrows & Cornbread: The Revival powered by @salonsbyjc_downtownbrooklyn was on June 27th. The beauty, the panels, the cornbread, the community, the tears, the laughter; it was everything and more. I am still processing it honestly.

But the near future has me SO excited and I just had to come back and share what's coming up:

📍 NEXT WEEK —> Tuesday, July 21st at 6PM
I will be at @Shopify New York for the Summer Small Biz Connect event — and yes, Shopify is a partner! If you are a small business owner or entrepreneur in New York, come through. Let's connect in person. 🙌🏾

🌸 July 24th — Scent Soiree
Our incredible floral activation partners @_bonheurstudio @artisticdelights is hosting the Scent Soiree at Bonheur Studio in Brooklyn. It is going to be a beautiful evening — floral and scent activations, photo booth by @ClicknItPhotoBooth, and pure good energy. Use code KARYNE for 20% off on all Tickets. Link in their bio! 🌹

And if you want to know what else is launching this fall — including Karyne's Painless Braiding Classes and the Cornrows & Cornbread activations through NYC — drop a 🌽 in the comments and I will make sure you are the first to know.

We are just getting started. 🌽✂️

It's Monday and I am still reflecting on all that Saturday gave us. 🥹

Cornrows & Cornbread: The Revival was everything I dreamed it would be and more. Three years in, and this one felt different. This one felt like home.

😍 And can we talk about my sister surprising me by bringing our MOTHER out to the event?! I am still emotional thinking about it. That moment alone made everything worth it.

To everyone who showed up, sat in that room, danced, ate, laughed, cried, and connected….. thank you. You are the revival. And a special shout out to @_bonheurstudio for these amazing floral arrangements for my Sneaker display literally before her flight- Forever grateful to you. To my volunteers, you know who you are… THANK YOU, especially Danielle and Shannae for the setup help the day before!
