6 years ago, I transferred to Dominican University after my original plan for college baseball fell through. I found myself looking for a place to play, and that’s when this small school across the country in Illinois found me. It took me one visit and one talk to know that’s where I wanted to be. So much so that I packed up and moved across the country in the middle of the year just to be able to play baseball. Little did I know this would be where I met some of the most important people in my life. People that have helped build me to be the person I am today. People that helped me find the passion for baseball and coaching after my playing days. From the first college hit, to walking off the field as a coach one more time, leaving Dominican after all of this is the hardest goodbye I’ve had to face. Staying 2 more years to coach is an opportunity I’ll forever be grateful for. Thank you to Dominican and thank you to the guys I’ve had the honor of spending the last 6 years with. My playing days and my time at Dominican University are over, but this was just the first step to the long road ahead. Roll Stars.

Could not have asked for a better day to play some golf. Grateful to be able to get 20 buddies out at a golf course, 1 hr away, and play a big game of Chicago. Very well spent birthday weekend @coyotespringsgolfclub

P.S the last time I played here I shot 114. Came back today and shot 93, so next time I should be aiming to break 90. Definitely the hardest course I’ve ever played and one of my favorites out here in the “Las Vegas” area.
