I have a feeling Genesis 1:20-23 was just the beginning of something special for Peyton Sorrow!

When God created the heavens and the earth and filled the waters with living creatures, He already knew the story He was writing for Peyton. He knew the passion He would place in his heart, the fish he would chase, and the opportunities and friendships that would come along the way. None of it was an accident. Peyton’s story has always been in God’s hands.

Thank You, God, for Your amazing creations! And thank You for giving Peyton a passion that has taken him places he could only dream of. Although, Lord, I have to wonder if You knew just how much money one of Your kids would spend chasing those fish! 😂

What an incredible weekend!

Peyton competed in the Bassmaster College Classic Cup on Wilson Lake in Florence, Alabama, alongside six other outstanding college anglers. Bassmaster rolled out the red carpet and gave these young men an experience they will never forget.

Peyton finished 2nd, and while I know he went there to win, his mom and I couldn’t be prouder.

What makes me proudest isn’t just the way he fishes, but the young man he is becoming. Hearing him talk about trusting God’s timing when things weren’t going his way, and seeing the respect he showed his teammate (and tournament winner), Brody Robison, reminded me that there are things far more important than where you finish on the leaderboard.

Peyton, We love you, we’re proud of you, and we’re excited to see where God takes you next. Keep working hard, keep trusting His timing, and always give Him the glory. God has been writing your story all along, and we can’t wait to see the next chapter.

Thank You, Lord, for the fish, the opportunities, the friendships, and the young man You’ve blessed us with.

The best is yet to come!

Classic Cup Champion. We headed to the Bassmaster Classic!!!

Thank you to everyone for all of the support. From the texts and calls to all the people who rode out to support at weigh in - it truly means the world to me. What a week.

Man, I love bass fishing!

That’s a wrap on the College Classic Cup! I had a three day total of 53lbs-13oz, finishing second to my best friend and brother @brodyrobisonfishing . I couldn’t be more proud or excited for him! Extremely deserving!

What an unbelievable experience. A huge thank you to @bassmaster for giving us a platform such as this! Unreal!

While it wasn’t my time, I have no complaints of how the week went. God showed me that when he wants things to happen, he makes them happen, and when he wants things to play out, they play out. Sometimes it’s for reasons we don’t know yet, sometimes it’s for reasons we know immediately! All in all I have peace knowing that he has a plan for me, my life, my fishing career and my dreams. I just have to trust him all the way through!!

Time to shift my focus to the Nation Championship on Hartwell, I want that one BAD🤫🤫

What a summer it’s been. Went home for a little over a month this past summer and was able to get a couple local wins and have a great time fishing one of my favorite lakes in the county every day! I’m beyond blessed to be able to fish every day and thankful for everyone who supports me! @litimepower @avidgear @southernoffroad @uwa_fishing @_braxtonhhopper

Matthew 6:33 “Seek the kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” 2025 was truly a blessed year. Super excited for some new opportunities in 2026!
