How blessed am I to have a place that makes leaving SO hard?!? For as long as I can remember, camp was a place that I called home and that has never changed as I’ve gotten older. Camp Lone Star has given me some of my best friends and best memories— ones that I’ll cherish forever. This summer, I experienced camp for the last time as a camper; this is something that I’ve always dreaded but also something I’ve always looked forward to because that meant I now get to spend my entire summer at camp. Every devo, every song time, every bible study, every late night worship session or conversation has shaped my faith and shaped me into the Woman of God I am today. Although my heart aches that I am no longer a camper, I’m so excited to see how God moves through and in me during these upcoming summers.

I’ve got so much, so much, so much to be thankful for

Summer ✅ Camp this summer was such a blessing. Getting to spend another year with the people who have become so much more than friends means more to me than I could ever explain. The counselors who pour so much love into us and the friendships that continue to grow year after year have changed my life in ways I don’t think they’ll ever fully realize.
There is something so special about being in a place where you feel completely seen, completely known, and completely loved. Every laugh, every late-night conversation, every worship session, and every little moment in between is something I’ll carry with me long after summer ends.
It’s hard to leave a place that feels so much like home. Thank you to everyone who made this summer unforgettable and reminded me what God’s love looks like through the way you cared for me. My heart is so full, and while saying goodbye never gets easier, I’m so thankful that God keeps bringing us back together year after year. Until next summer.

thank you club volleyball for the best 8 years of my life and all of the memories, joy, laughs, and lifelong friendships that i will hold on to forever. no words are able to describe how grateful i am to have had the opportunity to do what i love so much! the dream I've had of playing at a national level ever since i was 6 years old came true and it wouldn't have been done without the help of my family, teammates, friends, and all my coaches to be able to get me to where i am today. my parents truly made so many sacrifices for me and I couldn't be more grateful for their endless love and support through it all. i always knew that this day would come, but i didn't know how fast it would. saying goodbye to something you've loved for so long absolutely sucks, but i wouldn't trade these past 8 years for the world. i want to thank all my coaches from HVA and TLVC for shaping me into the athlete that i am today. thank you for putting so many hours into me and trusting me with every effort, even when i felt like i didn't even trust myself. i would also like to thank my teammates that I've shared the court with from start to finish. thank u for all the memories, wins, and losses that we shared and again wouldn't trade these moments for the world. i don't know what i did to deserve people like you to play alongside but i am soooo very lucky. this sport has been my home, and will continue to be as there is so much more volleyball to play for the next 4! i cannot wait to see where this next journey takes me but for now, #6 signing out!!! 💜🩵🦅

you know what they say, better late than never!! was putting this off, but i think it’s time i let it out. i could never shrink the impact that volleyball has had on me into one post, but i shall try! it was the first ever team sport that i had ever wanted to play, and 6 years later im forever grateful that i did. so lets scroll down memory lane!!

and ill also be saying thank you to everyone in the photos for their impact on my life in some way, shape, or form. so…

thank you santi, ryan, jonathan, hunter b, luis, edu, mateo, hunter m, alexavier, hudson, and coach tony 🩷

as i look back on every hustle play, times where my teammates trusted me to sprawl out for every ball,…

or every out of system set, times where i had to trust them to make something out of whatever i gave them,…

i am reminded of the the joy and passion that volleyball has brought out of me.

when my teammates and i would explore the beauty of every state we found ourselves in,…

or when i would ride around the city with people i would consider some of my bestest friends for hours,…

thank you dj (thank you x20 actually), thank you brian 🩷

or even when we would take way too long to decide where we wanted to eat after a 3 hour practice… (genuinely shouldn’t have been that hard… thank goodness all the options were right next to eachother)

thank you deuce, lucas, and jojo 🩷

i knew that i had found my home, not in a place, but in an activity. i had truly fallen in love.

those are feeling i will never take for granted. it’s had it moments, times where i felt like volleyball didn’t love me back, but i truly wouldn’t change a thing.

we’ve won some trophies, and lost even more,…

thank you coach kat (x10) 🩷

emphasis on winning tho,…

thank you coach kelso, coach haney, coach jackson, coach butler, coach rocha, and all of my EHS teammates throughout the 4 years!! 🩷

but it’s the people i did it with that makes it all worth it. in fact, if you told little garon he would be needing to hold onto his friends hand after every play to reset, instead of resetting by himself, he would have laughed at you… then combusted.

i’ve visited some amazing places,..

thank you brendan and carson 🩷
