“Done is better than perfect”. - Somebody

This pretty much sums up this whole experience. There was no room for perfection. Just plain and simple hard work and dedication and a passion for the craft. Without all those ingredients we probably wouldn’t have completed this project.

So many lessons learnt along the way. Knowledge is power, and experience teaches wisdom.

One of the key take aways from this short film I was fortunate to be brought on as the cinematographer was; continue to be a student of the craft. There are so many lessons in every interaction and decisions we make when undergoing the creative process. This was truly a labour of love. I had a great time!

Huge thank you to @unicefjamaica, @jaftaonline, @spotlightinitiative for giving filmmakers opportunities to tell our stories.

You can watch the film on UNICEF Jamaica YouTube channel.

Much much love to @reggaejemming @neishayen @_brewed. It was a pleasure and honor working with you ladies.

Two producers, two hardworking talented teams, and two powerful films created in the nick of time. 🙏🏾✨

Couldn’t have done it without the collaboration and support from @spotlightinitiative (executive producer), @unicefjamaica @jaftaonline @european.union 🎬
