gallery delivery for B & H ✨ this wedding day was long awaited and beautiful. as I worked through these photos, one thing became clear: everyone wants magic from their wedding photos… but the real magic? It can only come from you.

GENUINE EMOTION IS EVERYTHING. You can’t get it from a styled shoot. You can’t get it from the perfect decor. You can’t get it from a dream venue. You can’t get it from a camera.

The magic happens with the joy you let yourself feel, when you hold each other tight, when you laugh with your friends, when a tear slips down without warning, when you stop worrying about the day and just enjoy it. Those are the moments that bring a wedding photo to life. My job is to notice them and capture them - but I can’t create them. That can only come from you ✨

B & H & family and friends brought the magic every second, and I hope they can feel it for many years to come when they look through their album 🤍 I feel so lucky when I get to document days like this, and I can’t wait to jump into fall wedding season starting this weekend (!!!)

brooke’s dream dress on film! It was important to Brooke that on wedding day her dress be a secret to everyone and all of her friends and family see it for the first time during exciting first looks ✨ but she also wanted a photo of it hanging on it’s own so we made sure to capture that during her bridal portraits!

this was just one of those shoots where you drive away like “wtf, how did I get so lucky?!”

The Metzgers, est 7.25.25 in Fredericksburg! 💕⛪✨

I knew the day was going to be good when it started out with Brooke, surrounded by her bridesmaids, as they each prayed over her, and tears streamed down all of their faces. Joy and emotion literally oozed out of Brooke the whole morning.

Brooke and Hunter met in college at UT, even though their paths had crossed for years. He grew up in Fredericksburg, and she’d visited the town with her family often (even going to the same church that he grew up in, the one that they would eventually get married in 🥹), but it wasn’t until they ended up in the same chem class that they finally met. Both bio majors, they started off as study buddies and eventually, it turned into something more. After graduation, he went to vet school, she went into her nursing masters, and they made long-distance work. Their wedding weekend was the first time they’d seen each other in months, and they were so eager and excited. 💕

At the reception, in a venue filled with 300+ people, somehow these two still managed to spend time with everyone there and with each other.

The pom girls whipped their hair on the dance floor, the Eyes of Texas was belted (it’s not every day you have a wedding of two Longhorns!), and Brooke sped off in the getaway car with Hunter at the wheel, throwing her hook ‘em high. 🤘🏼❤️‍🔥
