2nd yr of music therapy masters done ! This year was up and down and all in between. As I head into thesis and board certification exam season, just wanna take a sec and acknowledge all the wonderful people that I got to work alongside this year <3 cannot thank my cohorts enough :’) and most importantly, all the patients I had the honor to get to know and learn so much from. go music therapy !

I’m grateful to share that I graduated with my Master of Arts in Art Therapy from NYU! 🎉💜 on May 13, 2026!

In these 2 years of graduate training, I’ve been deeply humbled by the stories and artworks created by clients. I’ve come alongside grieving children, neurodivergent children & their families, recently immigrated adolescents in the NYC public schools, adults with neuro-cognitive differences (in NYC and Italy!) I’ve facilitated group art therapy for adults in recovery — and so much more! Experiences that together consisted of 1,000+ life-changing practicum hours.

Along the way, I also completed my certificate as a Spiritual Director with @leadershiptransformations , provided eco-printing & natural dye workshops as an artist-in-residence @thepingryschool @pingryarts for adolescents, and families, met the love of my life, Luke, adopted two sweet kitten girls, Alaska & Aurora, and somehow hiked some of the highest peaks in Vermont and the Catskill Mountains!!!

As this season comes to a close, I am full of gratitude and brightly welcoming in my next chapter. Thank you to my cohort of emerging art therapists, my professors, supervisors, clients, and loved ones who supported me as I emerge as a NJ & NY Creative Arts Therapist!!! 💃🏻🎨🌻🍃
