Interrupting your insta feed to bring you a photo of the best sweet treat I’ve had in a reeeeaallllly reaallllly long time... the Cookies & Creme Cheesecake waffle cone from @nikkischocolateswny! I was honestly at a loss for words after eating it. All I could say was “this is SO freaking good” and “I wish I had another one”

I’ve wanted to check out Nikki’s Chocolates every week since the @chandlerstreetwintermarket opened, and this past week I finally had the chance! She sells all kinds of delicious chocolate items including sponge candy, chocolate coated pretzels (the Cinnamon Toast Crunch pretzel 🤤) puddings, trifles, cupcakes, cakes and more!

I was lured into her store this past week because I was just dying to try the banana pudding and it certainly did not disappoint 😋

A little while back, I had the most INCREDIBLE dinner at a small Italian bistro I had never heard of. Earlier in the week I had driven past @bellinisbistro on Pennsylvania St, and thought it was just the cutest freaking thing. I look them up and low and behold, they were starting to offer dine in service (in addition to takeout) again! We made a reservation and voila. I really enjoyed this quaint little bistro! It was family owned and run, and clear that the dining room was full of regulars and longtime friends.

Now, the food..... holy cannoli. They offer a smaller menu, and always offer specials. I ordered one of the specials that night, which was linguine and clams in a spicy chorizo cream sauce. I opted to add shrimp because often times I feel like you only get 4 clams 🤣 but BOY was I wrong here. Clams galore, shrimp on top, and a spicy chorizo cream that was seriously to die for.

My boyfriend ordered the pork chop, which was stuffed with prosciutto and mortadella and served with grilled asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. Now as a kid, I HATED pork chops. My parents always cooked them too long and they were tough and not enjoyable to eat. This pork chop was the pork chop of my DREAMS. It melted in your mouth like a perfectly cooked medium rare steak..... then comes the mortadella and prosciutto. Oh my I need to stop thinking about it because now I’m getting hungry lol. All I’m going to say is WOW.

The desserts were a whole new level entirely. During my online search, I saw all this talk about “Mom’s coconut cake” and I was sitting here thinking okay well yeah desserts made my mom/grandma/nonna are always going to be good.... but this Coconut Cake was the best coconut cake I have literally ever come across. I can’t explain it. I think boyfriend was concerned he lost me to the coconut cake... that’s the kind of love I’m talking about here. The Tiramisu was equally excellent, and the size of these desserts was massive so that’s always appreciated 😆

To start, they serve their house tapenade with fresh bread, which I appreciated as a differentiator.

Frozen heart ! Marinated scallops apple fennel custard hibiscus hoja Santa . I have been spending lots time walking in the beautiful creeks of Western New York and thinking about our Valentines menu i came up with this course while seeing a bleeding apple in the snow, So this will be at @laspuertasbuff fabulous weekend to celebrate love. The same menu will be served Thursday , Friday , Saturday and Sunday
