Captivated by God’s creation

Life is filled with moments. Some moments I wish could last forever. Like standing here with you watching the leaves sway in the wind. A beautiful calm fills me. No one quiets my storm the way you do. -V

I wish you could see yourself through my eyes and sit and watch in wonder. There is a light in you that has mesmerized me and captured my heart. I hope you never allow anyone to out your spark. -V

My dad, my papa bear: though, I was not biologically yours, you loved me as one of your own and never made me feel any less than. You and I shared a special bond that only the two of us really understood. You were always a man of logic and not emotion, but I never once had to question your love for me. You are my hero - the best man I have ever known and the best dad I could have ever hoped for in this life. No matter my shortcomings, you loved me anyway. And I will always be grateful to you - for never judging me or loving me any less regardless of my faults. You were also the most brilliant man I ever knew. “The world has lost someone incredible. I have lost someone incredible who means the world to me.” You will always be in my heart and in my thoughts. I love you so much and not a day will go by that I won’t think of you. I will miss your big bear hugs, your laugh, your voice - I will miss everything about you. You truly were such an amazing, kind person. I am blessed to call you my dad. Heaven gained a new angel. I wish you were still with us. For now, you are my guardian angel until we meet again. I love you dad. ♡
