CHICAGO BADDIES | SPOTLIGHT ON A RISING DANCER 🖤📸

It looks like my photography is starting to reach a much larger audience, with over 71,000 views in a single night, individual posts reaching 10,000 views, and others surpassing 5,000.

I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to introduce a dancer I photographed during the 2026 Chris Brown & Usher R&B concert in Chicago.

@_caitymae_

I particularly enjoyed working with her. After our initial photographs, she approached me with such positive energy that we ended up doing an extended photo shoot together. Dancers are naturally photogenic. Their understanding of movement, body positioning, and expression makes photographing them an especially rewarding experience.

Something else caught my attention while photographing the tour.

After exchanging Instagram accounts and having casual conversations, I began noticing many young, up-and-coming dancers documenting their experiences participating in the 2026 Chris Brown and Usher concerts.

Their videos and personal stories become shared experiences among the younger generation, extending the excitement of the concerts far beyond the performances themselves.

From a marketing perspective, I find this particularly fascinating. These young performers create organic engagement and cultural conversations through their own social media platforms and communities.

In many ways, I believe these young dancers play an important role in the broader success of major concert tours.

THE CULTURE DOESN’T MOVE FORWARD BY ACCIDENT. 🔥

It moves because people choose to pour back into it.

Chicago’s own Dom LaShawn stepped into Rhythm Hood and did exactly that — bringing his experience, his artistry, and his perspective back into a room of dancers ready to receive it.

This is what community looks like.
We learn. We share. We build. We pass it forward.

Dom, it was a pleasure capturing you in your element and watching the room come alive.

Because when the culture gives you something, there’s power in giving something back.

Thank You @rhythmhood.dancestudio for providing a space for The Youth To Grow! 🌱

“PAID” The debut.

This performance marks the beginning of a movement language built on contrast—precision and chaos, structure and disruption, instinct and intention.

Chromatic Khaos is a movement collective exploring the space between structure and instability, where street physicality, contemporary abstraction, and cinematic worlds converge. Through controlled distortion, we create work that challenges convention and transforms movement into an evolving visual experience.

Thank you to everyone who supported our first performance and to @thepuzzleboxdancestudio for hosting this event. This is only the beginning.
