The part you don’t see in the portfolio: I almost quit.

I loved creating. But I couldn’t see where all the work was taking me.

What followed was three years of learning, a chapter that ended with mutual respect, and the decision to go all in on Sueño.

Then came the uncomfortable part. Admitting I needed help becoming the leader I wanted to be.

Coaching. Hard conversations. Learning to trust a team. Taking responsibility for more than my own work.

We recently hit a six-figure revenue month. A milestone I’m grateful we reached together.

But the thing that keeps me going is seeing what we can build with the people around us.

The vision for Sueño is to bring incredible creatives across Sydney and Australia together. Share knowledge. Create opportunities. Make work we’re proud of.

I’m sharing this because, at the time, I had no idea how the next chapter would look.

Swipe through for the story.

Have you ever come close to walking away from something you loved? What made you stay?

SUEÑO WAY. ❤️🍿

Announcement ‼️@corycooktattoo will be heading back home to Bristol and will be travelling around Europe for the next few months. 😭

Unfortunately, as he isn’t an Aussie, Cory is unable to work in NSW for more than 6 months in a year due to tattoo licensing restrictions.

However, he will be joining us interstate as some of the team head to Brisbane and Perth later in the year, and Singapore in January 2027.

At this stage, we don’t know when he will be back in the studio working, but it will be sometime in 2027! If you’d like to be updated on his return, please contact us to be added on to his waitlist.

Although, we will still be seeing him around here and there- we will truly miss his presence in the shop on the daily. He’s become such an integral part of the family, and even though we’ve been apart before, this time it just feels different 💔

BUT HE WILL BE BACK!

3 years of documenting this incredible team. 🎥

Thank you @markdtattoo for having me be part of something special. I’ll cherish every memory in the shop and every trip we took together.

To everyone I’ve watched grow I’m so proud of you all for mastering your craft. And to @ray_ink_inc & @_cammarkd_ thank you for letting me into this family. You taught me so much about your world.

I know you’ll make Markd the best in the world. Still cheering you on from the sidelines.

Kreezy Out 🫡❤️ #markdtattoo
