Moments like these are what it’s all about.

Especially when it’s with some of my favorite people while listening to my favorite artist. 💜

I am so extremely sad to be typing this but, last week I found out that my gym, Legacy Fitness & Gym, will be closing their doors today for good.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin about this place. It’s more than “just a gym” to me.

My wife and I joined this gym back in 2010-2011 when it was Fitness Evolution. Then, it became Diesel Fitness (and I actually worked there) and then it became Legacy Fitness.

I have been through SOOOO much while being a member here. My fitness goals have become stronger, I started UNT here, trained for many trips, got engaged, married, had a MC, had a baby, did a few stories over the gym and members, done photoshoots, graduated from UNT, got pregnant again and not to mention the MAAAANY blood, sweat, tears (and even puking) that has gone into working out at that gym. And the friendships I’ve made and people I’ve met - I truly will always cherish that part. The people at this gym are AWESOME and not like the other places you might see.

When I say I am absolutely devastated to see them close their doors, I hope and pray this isn’t the end for Legacy. I hope they find a new building so they/we can continue building legacies.

I can’t bring myself to go into the doors today because it truly is an emotional experience.

But like I said, I hope and pray that Legacy is just temporarily closed and hopefully moves to a new building 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Thanks for the amazing memories, Legacy. You definitely won’t ever be forgotten.

It’s the end of an era, some might say. 😞😔
