POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I wasn’t quite prepared for this little surprise yesterday. ❤️🏑

During one of our quarter breaks, my production team pulled out a few photos from my playing days at Louisville (thanks @l.korte ) - a little preview of what’s coming as we celebrate 50 years of @louisvillefh .

And before anyone asks: yes, photography had advanced to color by the time I played. 😂

All jokes aside, seeing those pictures on television definitely got me in my feelings.

This program has been such an important part of my life. I came to Louisville as a student-athlete, wearing that jersey and playing a game I loved, never imagining that all these years later I’d still have the privilege of being connected to this sport.

That’s what makes this 50th celebration so special. It’s bigger than any one team, coach, player or era. It’s generations of women who wore Louisville across their chest. It’s friendships that have lasted decades, coaches who helped shape us, and a program that has continued to grow while giving young women the opportunity to compete, belong and be part of something bigger than themselves.

I’m incredibly proud to be one small piece of those 50 years, and I cannot wait to be back together next weekend with so many Cardinals who helped build this program and carry it forward.

And to my production crew - thank you for the sweetest surprise (and for digging DEEP into the archives 😂❤️). You got me.

Forever grateful for this game. Forever grateful for this program. And forever proud to be a Card.

Here’s to 50 years of Louisville Field Hockey, and to every woman who has been part of its story. ❤️🖤🏑

Here we go. 🏑🎙️

There’s something pretty special about starting and ending the season in the same place.

My 13-week sprint starts today at Trager Stadium - and ends right back here in November when Louisville hosts the Natty.

A whole lot of field hockey between now and then. A whole lot of miles, games, stories, hugs, laughs and probably not enough sleep.

Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Year 10 loading…
13 weeks. Let’s ride.
