LSD. Opening in Berlin Wednesday 10 September 2025 10 Sep - 27 September By appointment and by chance only LSD. (Love Sex Dissonance) is a group exhibition situated above the iconic sex shop “LSD” (Love Sex Dreams), located at the corner of Kurfürstenstraße and Potsdamer Straße, a site loaded with history of erotic, *photography, sexwork and all that comes with it. This exhibition brings together artists whose works explore eroticism as a disruptive force, one that fractures and reconfigures the ways we see, feel, and understand. Rather than presenting eroticism as a straightforward subject matter, these works treat it as a structure: something that unsettles language and image, distorts perception, and resists resolution. Featuring painting, sculpture, sound, video, and installation, the exhibition reflects on how desire moves through systems such as architecture, memory, identity, and media. Here, eroticism is not about clarity or comfort; it is about intensity, imagination, and the collapse of moral boundaries. Some faces I’ve met along this journey of building a life abroad—some stay, some leave, some you share a moment with, only to never cross paths again. Each encounter a fleeting story, a chapter that adds to this story of growing, adapting, and learning. It’s strange how people can leave such lasting imprints on your heart, even when their presence was only for a brief moment in time. But maybe that’s the beauty of it—nothing lasts forever, and that makes everything feel a little more meaningful. Here’s to the faces that come and go, but never really fade. I can’t wait to meet more people, to photograph them, and to be enchanted by their stories, knowing that each one will add something special to the ever-changing landscape of this life.

In 2025, our focus will remain on fostering spaces—both physical and conceptual—where art can continue to provoke and inspire. This commitment demands that we remain critically engaged, that we question our own practices, and that we actively challenge the structures that attempt to dictate what art can be, restrict the positions artists may take, and impose repercussions for political (and human) solidarity, as recent acts of censorship in Europe underscore the urgency of safeguarding artistic freedom as a cornerstone of cultural discourse. To those who have walked this journey with us, know that our commitment to you—to artists, to audiences, to the broader ecosystem—remains unwavering. Together, let us continue to navigate the complexities of this space, not in pursuit of easy answers but in search of deeper, more resonant questions. Mauricio Sauma | Juan Salazar Gallery Directors
