What do you do when you’re feeling flat??

I know, I’ve been quiet lately…. Life’s been lifing…. Haven’t really found my creative mojo lately…. Needed a step back… on the weekend - day trip to Lancefield to surprise one of our faves and trying our hand at some sourdough starter using some of the discard to bake a couple of sandwich loaves as it felt wrong to discard it…. In the bin🫣😅🫠
House smells delicious…. Our first loaves are yummy…. And yesterdays delightful autumn sunshine, day with my man and cuddles from our girl Bek was much needed🥹🥰

Here’s to an amazing week ahead…. And hopefully to my mojo reappearing 🤞🏼😬🤞🏼💞

✨ Oddities & Curiosities Market — Sydney Edition ✨

There is nothing quite like stepping into an authentic Oddities & Curiosities Market — a place truly brought to life by the incredible people who live and breathe this world every single day.

It was mind-blowing in the best possible way. I saw everything from full gothic regalia to costume creatives carrying staffs, wall hangings, ink sessions happening right in front of me, fresh piercings, crystal-encrusted spell books, and even rats dressed as showgirls (yes… and they were fabulous).

But the best part? Talking to the stallholders.
Every single one of them pours their heart into their craft. You can feel their passion — this isn’t just a hobby; it’s a lifestyle, an identity, a creative outlet that they embody with complete authenticity.

And in true “me” fashion, I walked in wearing a bright blue summer dress and absolutely stood out… but honestly? I didn’t care one bit. Because what I witnessed was a community where everyone was comfortable, connected, accepted, and celebrated exactly as they are.

🖤 This is why events run by the community, for the community, are so special. They’re real. They’re raw. They’re magical.

And they remind us how powerful authenticity truly is.
