POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

September has been jam packed and it’s not over yet! We started at @_cdcta_ where sales horse Flying Top 🪽 had an easy jump around his first US event in the novice, scoring in the 20s on the flat and proving to be super JR/AA friendly. Also competing were @annabelleheiteventing and Top Carrera 🏎️ who finished on their dressage score of 23.9 to win the NR 🏆

Next was the Fork at @tryon_international where Casalto got out for his first field trip since Rebecca Farm and did a relaxed CT, and The Naughty Vicar finished 13th out of 43 starters in the 3* in only his second start at the level.

Gortglas Lupin scored an impressive 20.0 in the OP, had an easy clear SJ and nice canter around the XC for his first outing this season, and Top Love also had a good run in the OP before doing his first 2* later this fall 🤎

When the photo stops you in your (editing) tracks 🪞

Hannah said she wanted to do something artsy with the water, and gosh, did she ever. Stunning capture by @firerosestudios for @sdh_photography_ at @_cdcta_

Finishing up results from CDCTA Fall HT. Midnight Storm (Midnight Rose Stables) cruised around for two double clear rounds over a xc course that caused quite a bit of trouble that day! He finished 5th in the Open Novice out of a big group. Excited for the rest of our fall season with this special boy!!

If you’ve been following the dressage at Aachen like I have, it’s been worthy inspiration for all of us everyday riders. They may have half passes and counter canters, but I’ve got trot circles and a very good boi who puts up with our endless quest for forward.

August is for living our best life, and this week at @greatmeadow, @_cdcta_ gave us the opportunity to practice dressage, earn a few sevens and no fives, and be spoiled by @sdh_photography_. Take it from me, a great photographer reflects back the minds eye vision of yourself that you hope is real. Samantha has that talent in spades 🫶🏻
