Wellbeing should be accessible, culturally relevant and community-centred.

And I’m deeply invested in how we care for ourselves and how we can better care for one another. As people who shape, preserve and imagine culture, wellbeing should be at the heart of our practice and valued just as much as our work.

Care is not separate from cultural practice and truly shapes how we create, connect and sustain ourselves and community, especially in the context of systemic injustice, political uncertainty.

On 12 July and with the support of the wonderful @_chann and @doreanengese_ I’ll be facilitating a focus group exploring the intersection of culture, wellbeing, community and care.

I’m inviting people of all ages to take part. I want to hear what wellbeing means to you, what helps you stay well and what you feel is missing. Your voice will help shape research that aims to improve access to wellbeing resources and services across our communities.

Looking forward to chatting to you all, please copy the link below and fill in the google forms or shoot me a dm! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSebbM1D67ixwsDKq1gyJ1DgPCL7pUZODtH-vlI2RyRbCDz9Qg/viewform
