My best friend and her person

No timelines to follow, no big occasion to celebrate, no reason other than wanting photos of this season of life exactly as it is.

Just a beach, a sunset that showed off for us, sandy feet, and the two of them being exactly who they are together.

There is something really special about photographing the people you love most. Getting to witness the way they look at each other, laugh together, and exist in all those little in-between moments that don’t seem important until one day they are everything.

6,700 kilometers. That’s the distance between Saskatoon and Sweden - between the place where they grew their love and the place where they promised forever.

Their story hasn’t been simple. It’s been a collection of airports, time zones, video calls, and long stretches of missing each other. It’s been learning to love through the screen, holding onto moments until they could be together again. They’ve walked through heartbreak and loss - the kind that changes you - and still, they’ve chosen love. Chosen each other. Every single time.

Yesterday was something out of a dream ✨

Chelsea and Michael tied the knot in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, surrounded by towering peaks, fresh alpine air, and the kind of love that leaves you speechless. Their day was elegant, intimate, and entirely them—a celebration of connection, commitment, and soul-deep devotion. Every moment felt sacred. Every detail? Absolute perfection.

From the second Chelsea slipped into her breathtaking gown (she glowed—no, seriously), to Michael’s jaw-dropping forest green suit (hello, style icon), the day unfolded like a fairytale. There were happy tears, heartfelt vows, and moments of stillness that made time feel like it stood still.

And as if the mountains weren’t already showing off, the weather joined in too. The rain held off just long enough for them to say their vows, sneak kisses under the clouds, and soak in every moment. Then, just as we wrapped portraits, the skies opened—and instead of running for cover, they ran into the rain, hand in hand, laughing like a scene straight out of a movie.

A love story 14 years in the making…💍💕

Melissa and James’s breathtaking wedding in the Dominican Republic was nothing short of magical.
