The circumstances in recent times have been unique, and all around us, we see tremendous acts of generosity and kindness, like powerful beams of sunlight disinfecting our dreams of fears and anxieties. In our tiny corner of the universe, at I’ll Have What She’s Cookin’, there are So. Many. Sunbeams. Individuals working endless hours to provide families at home this much-pined-for opportunity to engage - with other friends and home cooks, and with each other, for a couple hours per week.

We take a moment to catch our breath and savor this moment of gratitude, Thanking:
-our genius behind the camera, Justin Nava (@navacreativeservices )
-our leadership team working behind as well as in the scenes: Kate McLean (@summercamp_in_session ) , Marisa (@marisawhitenton ), Chef Dawn (@chefdawnburrell )

Our creative talents in front of the camera lens:
Chef Dory Fung (@hellodoryy ), Chef Keisha Griggs (@ate_boutique_kitchen ), June Rodil (@junerodil , Shannon McCracken (@shannymccracken ), Sarah Troxell (@barcheftrox), Chef Evelyn Garcia (@chef.evy ), Sarah Crowl (@sarahlcrowl ), and Kam Franklin (@bamitskam)

Great artisanal shops, farmers, purveyors: @houstonwines , @loamagronomics , @montrosecheeseandwine , @magnolfrenchbaking , @13celsius, @jordanranchtx , & @farm_and_forage
- Our culinary engine Marisha (@chefandwriterlady ) , Darius (@chefdeezy713 ) , Tennis, & Omar.

Our Story Tellers: Iman (@iman.eli_ ) and Catherine (@manterolac ) and @bearhandsmedia, & our drivers.
To our fellow Houstonians and world citizens, we hope that you’ve enjoyed cooking and sipping with us as much as we have. We are inspired and driven by our love of this community and our belief that the shared table, this communal meal, unites us all.

@tobeNwigwe @tobecallsmefat @lanellgrant @corytherealestateguy, It was a pleasure to feed you last night @kulture_houston . It is not often that I am overwhelmed with appreciation for artistic expression and excellence. For the last year I have been by yours. I have been nourished by what you do. I am thankful. I hope one day to have the same impact on someone that you all have had on me. I am so down with y’all. If you are not familiar with these artists you should be. #realmusic #believer #artistsunite #houston #alief #theivorytour #grateful.

The #KultureHouston team competed in the @thebutchersball #GoldenCleaver competition at @rockinstarranch! I created a “Cheesesteak Donut” with @wagyuru tri-tip and it was a hit! I paired the donut with a cheddar cream and topped it with a chili relish. For more behind the scenes of the event, check out my stories 👩🏾‍💻

It was a delicious night at the BanhMi Cookoff by BPSOS. The first two photos are of the winning BanhMi, with Judges Award to the team at Texas Wood Fired Pizza and the People’s Choice Award to the team from Local Pho. @femme_foodie I love reading your review and play-by-play for each of our banh mi contestant 🥂👏@pelipelihouston @jazdao @bpsoshouston #Cathyha #bpsos #banhmi #cookoff #vietnamesefood #charityevent #houstonchef #houstoneats #houstonfood #houstonevents #instagood #delicious

I was rooting for @chefdeezy713’s Banh Mi! Another personal favorite. You could tell he put a lot of thought into this to make it really outstanding. Except for the bread which was too thick & bread-y, this was the only entry that I ate in its entirety. His creation: Togirashi spiced pork belly, smoked spicy plum sauce, champagne & miso pate with crispy cracklings, salt cured egg yolk to finish. #banhmi #banhmicookoff #judgestable
