This is MB2 Thanksgiving!🧡✨
The summary of the testimony of my Pathology and Pharmacology journey is: GRACE. God carried me. All I had was five loaves and two fishes, I really couldn’t give any more but God multiplied it. God sustained me because how did I go for almost a week without eating because my GI shut down and all my brain could think about was reading and going to write my exams. When hypoglycemia hit me by Friday, I had to beg God and promise that I would eat😂 I still didn’t 😭. God surrounded me with men that carried me and buffered my weaknesses. I could go on and on recounting my experiences, but I’ll just end it all with gratitude to God and my Abba🥺🤎

PS: almost every pose had to involve this my hairstyle🤭

Guess who made it to the end of junior clinical posting?!🥳
These past 8 months of my life have been something else! From having to interact with actual patients, to receiving insults from consultants 😭 despite trying your best, to deadlines for different assignments and presentations. In all this, there's evidence that GRACE carried me!
Because how did I make it this far? How did I remain mentally sane? That may seem far, but nothing like new experiences and phases of your life to shake you up. Thank God for the Holy Spirit, my Comforter. I honestly wonder how people do life without Him. There were many moments of mental battles, panic attacks, the enemy whispering lies, but God!!!
I'm honestly just grateful for the community of friends and family around me who I could be vulnerable with, who held me in their arms and prayed for me, encouraged me, reminded me of who God called me and sent me money 🤭
Take away from these past months:
●You think you can't do something until you try
●Kill comparison. It steals your joy (requires serious effort when you're surrounded by really smart people😭)
●Let God carry you! You weren't made to do life on your own
Thank you God for a million little miracles!
Last slide was a little treat for me cause I had tried 😭✋🏾
