It wasn’t so long ago that the nurse placed her in my arms, fresh from the delivery ward.
It wasn’t so long ago that she took her first steps, holding my hands for balance.
It wasn’t so long ago that she walked into school for the first time, while I was in the 11th grade, looking out for her.
It wasn’t so long ago that she stepped into college for her undergraduate studies.

And now, she’s reached yet another milestone — with me still by her side.

Major life update: She’s been admitted to St. Joseph’s University for her post-graduation!
Here’s hoping Bengaluru is kind to her and that this new chapter brings growth, joy, and unforgettable experiences.
