‘CHAMPAGNE’ out now🥂🤍

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

‘God, suck the pride out of me’ is officially out on all streaming platforms <3 eeeek!!!!

This song means so much to me, even more because it’s the first song bluntly discussing my struggles with faith and being so unknowingly egotistical at times. At a deeper level it’s about struggling to name the trauma I might have that’s caused me to react the way I did to even gentle constructive criticism from people I love. This piece is about naming that pridefulness in my life that eats me alive, and it’s a prayer for God to continue to suck that out.

Thank you @rylanfoley_ for helping me bring this to life and being my first experience co-producing on a song of mine, and for trusting me to help bring it to the finish line. And thank you @_chloekimm + @beequigley for taking the time to hear my story and help me communicate these ideas in the music <3

I hope you guys love this song as much as I do 🌟

This song has been out for 7 months now and is one of my favs to sing live. Written about watching a friend go through a relationship that they didn’t deserve, “HOT GIRL” is a reminder to lift up those around you.
-
fav lyric:
“you’re a hot girl. no need to pay for a shot, girl”💃🔥😛😛
-
this song was originally written for the @songwriterscollaborative but i’m so glad to have put it out
