Yesterday I was honored to be invited to the Creative Exchange hosted by @ameindustries.co x @dreamspvcestudios in Colorado Springs. Later that night I attended the @keenantrevon show at @lulusdowntown which had a popping amount of talent full of amazing openers including @cadencepearlofficial , @tigerchazz , @kalonie.k , @contactxhale , @olympian.ko , @_chocuba_ and more!

Here's a few shots I took during the day and night time highlighting some of the thriving artist spaces in Colorado Springs 💎

Got invited back to PPSC to cover an assembly for Black History Month.

As I took my seat in the auditorium (first time ever with legitimate stage lighting, changed my life) I had this feeling that something special was going to happen.

And I was right.

Poetry and music danced in the air.
Smiles were everywhere.

There were several times I forgot to take a picture as I was so entranced with what was happening on stage.

So grateful to see and meet with the many talents on stage. I hope that there is a day where they all are on the world's biggest stages, and I hope to be the one that captures that moment as well.

Improvising with @_chocuba_ on Juneteenth ✨
..
..
Always super excited to work with artists. Chocuba in particular is just a great spirit and (obviously) insanely talented.
..
..
I had never heard this song prior to moving to it on stage. There are moments I feel I “missed” the musicality, but a story always unfolds itself when you are truly locking in the story of your movement.

Hoping to do more stuff like this in the future. Hmu artists✨✨
