I’m someone who notices and strongly believes in the meaningfulness of beauty in everyday life. I don’t mean superficial beauty, but the small things we are passionate about. How we make our coffee in the morning, how we are drawn to certain things, what we notice.

Sure, as creatives, we can buy a generic notebook at Lidl. But what does that signal about what you write? About what you’re passionate about? About the thoughts you write down?

All the Chosen Form products I create are to celebrate the preciousness of everyday objects and their function in our creative lives.

This personalizable notebook has two customizable lines. Make it yours. Celebrate your passions.

Do you want more than a museum selfie when you view art? This guided fill-in book ask you the right questions to gain confidence and the lense to analyze and truly experience the arts!

Art has the power to move us, challenge us, and change the way we see the world. Yet most encounters with art end the moment we leave the museum, or walk out of the gallery. The experience fades before it has the chance to deepen into understanding.

Experiencing the Arts was created for those who want more than passive observation.

Each artwork, exhibition, concert, or cultural experience receives its own guided three-page spread. Beginning with key information and context, the book then leads you through a carefully structured process inspired by art history, visual analysis, concept development, and curatorial practice.

The result is a deeper engagement with what you experience and a growing ability to analyze, interpret, and discuss art with confidence.

Part journal, part educational tool, part personal archive.

A place to document the works that shaped you, the ideas they sparked, and the way you learned to see.

This detail comes from Flamants roses et nénuphars, a monumental seven-panel screen created around 1929 by French Art Deco master Jean Dunand. Trained in traditional lacquer techniques by the Japanese artist Seizo Sugawara, Dunand spent years adapting an ancient craft into something distinctly modern.

What makes this work fascinating is how little it relies on representation. There is no dramatic narrative, no crowded composition demanding attention. Instead, the image is built through texture, material, rhythm, and light. Gold leaf becomes water. Mother-of-pearl becomes a lotus flower. The surface itself becomes the subject.

Art Deco is often associated with glamour and luxury, but its greatest works reveal something deeper: a pursuit of perfection through craftsmanship. Every line, every material, every reflection was carefully considered.

Nearly a century later, this detail still feels contemporary. It reminds us that beauty is often found not in complexity, but in precision.

I am over the sun and the moon about my new Lectio Divina journal from @_chosenform

I’ve been doing lectio divina with a group of friends each Friday for the last year. The fruit from these prayerful scripture readings is abundant and I wanted more.

I read Praying Scripture For a Change by Dr. Tim Gray from @formedcatholic and @augustine_institute where I discovered the efficacious steps of receiving scripture prayerfully. Allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal to me what He finds necessary for me to perceive at this time in my journey is a form of surrender to the Lord and moving towards His will.

But I still wanted more. I wanted an order, a way to record the insights given to me, my reflections and meditations.

Enter this incredible journal from @_chosenform

This book enters you into the four movements: Lectio, Meditatio, Oratio, and Contemplatio all structured around the Liturgical year!! 🙏🏻 The journal begins in Advent and guides you through the seasons of Christ’s life and the Church while offering structure for journaling your reflections and prayers on scripture.

Each section includes Gospel verses, a Mass attendance log, with weekly reading and notes sections.

The only ‘downside’ is that I’ll have to purchase a new copy each year so I can journal my scripture prayers without interruption for each liturgical year! 🤣

Swipe for a quick flip through of the inside.
*This is NOT a paid advertisement. I purchased this journal and am in love with its structure and purpose and wanted to share all about it! 👏👏👏

For a long time, I searched for a daily journal that felt both practical (max 10 mins) and intentional. Something that could hold goals, ideas, reflection, direction, and identity in the same place.

I couldn’t find it, so I created it.

The Chosen Form Journal is a guided 10-minute daily practice designed to help you stay connected to your vision, focus your attention on what matters, and bring greater intention to the way you move through your day and creative life.

A thoughtful tool for creative minds and artful lives.

More delicate, gorgeous details from paintings. Flower patterns, metallics, skin, fabric. I’m in deep appreciation and admiration for genuine craftsmanship, beauty, femininity and strength.

In almost every exhibition I’ve worked on, one phrase comes up again and again: “I don’t know much about art.”

And every time, I say the same thing: you do not need to be an art historian to experience art.

What do you see? What do you feel? What draws your attention?

The most fascinating interpretations often come from people who simply allow themselves to look closely. Sometimes all that is needed is the right questions.

This is why I created Experiencing the Arts.

Rooted in principles from art education and shaped by my perspective as an artist, curator, and art historian, this guided fill-in book was designed to help people move from simply looking at art to truly experiencing it.

Bring it to a museum. Use it after a gallery visit. Sit with a single painting longer than usual. Art opens up when we do.

Lately I’ve been visually inspired by detailed realism, textures like lace, embossing, and metallic sheen. The almost tactile elements and intricate details within paintings. Feathers, stone, silk. Real, tangible beauty.

So I finally decided to publish my Self Concept Workbook for Creatives! And today I got my first review 🎉 —>

So I decided to celebrate that milestone here with you!

For a long time, I’ve wanted to create tools and spaces for creatives because after almost 20 years in the creative field, I do feel I’ve gained some insights through both successes and failures.

This book is a guide to clarifying your creative identity. Who are you as a creative? And does the way you see yourself align with where you want to go artistically? I could talk about this for days. The philosophy behind artistry fascinates me endlessly.

But instead, I’ll invite you to take a look on Amazon. The link will be in my bio soon, and the ASIN to search for the book is: B0H23FB78F

Right now there’s a launch sale before I raise the prices. If you decide to purchase it, I would truly appreciate a review. It helps me reach more creatives.
