“hi my name is mark, and i’ll be your nurse today” 🤠 four years ago, i could barely get those words out. i still remember my first clinical shift… opening the door, turning on the lights, and waking up my first patient at 7 in the morning. my heart was racing, my voice trembling, and i completely forgot my own name trying to introduce myself. funny enough, i still get nervous sometimes. the only difference is that now i know i can be scared… and still do it anyway. turns out confidence isn’t about having no fear… its about realizing you’re allowed to make mistakes, ask questions or help, and admit that you can’t know it all. though i still have far to go, i’m already proud of how far i’ve come. so to everyone who has been part of my journey and helped shape the person i am today, thank you. this degree may have my name on it, but it belongs to all of you, too 🤍 Mark Liean Gavril Peña Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Distinction Registered Nurse 📸: @_sanryo @ryocifra
