Thank you so much to @_chronicallybookish for organising this readathon, I’ve had a wonderful time! These books have kept me company through some hard days this month & I feel so accomplished to have gotten so close to filling the bingo board.
I hope y’all find the reviews helpful & maybe find something to add to your tbr.

This month I took part in the disability pride month readathon organised by @_chronicallybookish through their bindery & discord community. The aim is to get a “bingo” on their bingo card where each book can be used for up to two spots. There’s more to it, the rules are on @_chronicallybookish so I recommend going over there 😊
My goal was to read 8 books, all audiobooks or graphic novels & I got super close which is pretty cool tbh 😊

“a book rec from the Chronically Bookish discord server” “visibly disabled character on the cover” “main character with an invisible disability” “neuro-divergent main character”
“set in a country other than where you live” “main character with a sensory disability” “two or more disabled characters” “memoir by a disabled author”
“any book” “self-published book” “main character with a psychiatric disability” “any book”

🌟 Half-year review 🌟

Slightly belated but I finally got some headspace to evaluate half year review in my first year using a reading spreadsheet, gifted to be by @foreverinastory.

Here are some stats, standouts, goals and a challenge update.

Challenge organisers are tagged where possible!

Any recommendations for me based on my goals? 🥰

🩷 Where Our Dreams End von Yvonne Merschmann (Endometriose)

🩷 Falling for Eve Brown von Talia Hibbert (Schwarze, mehrgewichtige Frau)

🩷 The Way you Crumble von Nena Tramountani (selektiver Mutismus)
