Since day one, @_chuckjunior and I embarked on a journey to question the norm. We began by deconstructing everyday objects or subjects, simplifying them to their essence. This led to a five-year exploration spanning film, food, art, photography, and profound discussions, culminating in this project, BARRIERS. In this conceptual photography series, we challenge the status quo of Major League Baseball, asking why there’s no professional woman’s baseball. This marks the inception of a new chapter where I create unique conceptual frames, infused with imaginative subversive undertones. Baseball serves as my wellspring of inspiration, allowing me to delve into its cultural significance and thought-provoking narratives.
