A snippet from our St Andrew’s Celebration Concert, at La Barcarolle Theatre in Arque, France! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇫🇷 @labarcarolleepcc

Featuring Scottish musicians; @hamishgrantnapier , @reidyrooree and @mairearad, alongside students and tutors from the Conservatoire in St Omer, and myself and @clara_canesse step dancing. 💃🏻🎶

Clara and I first met at the @int.body.music.fest hosted by @percussivedancefrance in Paris in 2016. A couple of years later, Clara came to Scotland to start learning Scottish step dance and proposed an idea for a series of workshops and a concert celebrating Scottish music and dance with students from the Conservatoire CAPSO in St Omer. Sadly the project was postponed due to the pandemic, but it was wonderful to finally come together for a couple of days in November and put together a concert with the students. 😊🙌

Thanks to everyone who made the project possible! ✨👏
