Class of 2031 — Difference Makers 🏀

Donovan Payne (5’8”) — Probably the name to know from this group. Payne played outstanding and showed some of the best flashes and upside of anyone in the class.

Mark Bernal III (5’4”) — Tough competitor who came ready to play. Bernal is another name to know moving forward.

Darien Poole (5’5”) — Right there behind them. Competed hard, stood out and had a strong showing.

Kayden Sam (5’6”) — Very intriguing prospect who played well and showed good upside.

Landen Gaiser (5’3”) — Performed well and showed plenty of promise.

Cache Pinnock (6’1”) — Good size and tools with upside to develop.

Jordan Harper (5’7”) — Competed and showed some good flashes throughout.

🏀 WHAT A NIGHT IN PHOENIX!

The 11th Annual Arizona Middle School Basketball Exposure Showcase is officially in the books! Tonight at PHHacility in Phoenix, we had an outstanding group of young players come through and compete at a very high level. Myself and the other evaluators in the building walked away extremely impressed with the talent.

There are some names people may not know yet — but they will. We’ll be releasing our player recaps and evaluations throughout the next week.

What impressed me just as much was the character in the gym. Well-mannered young men, great sportsmanship and OUTSTANDING parents. Thank you to John Ortega and PHHacility for the first-class treatment and helping us make this event happen.

Special thanks to Coach Fernando Shaw for flying in from Dallas to evaluate and cover the event with Area Codes Basketball, and to Phoenix College Head Coach Jermaine Kimbrough for kicking off the showcase as our guest speaker.

Parts of tonight’s showcase were also streamed live on our YouTube channel, Area Codes TV Network, with every team getting an opportunity to play one or two games on the featured court.

Thank you to Hesi Hoops for capturing highlights of several prospects and Shot By Randyi for providing photography and highlight videos for several of our players. Having quality media coverage is another important part of giving these young players exposure.

Thank you to every player, parent, coach, evaluator and media member who supported us tonight. 11 years strong, and Arizona continues to show that there is some serious young talent coming! 🏀

Stay tuned — the recaps are coming.

We would like to extend our utmost congratulations to 2026 W Prince Cash ( @princetoocold ) on his commitment to Mott Community College! He will be joining of the premiere CC programs in the country. Prince is Coach Brown’s first 1,000 point scorer and first 4 year varsity player (alongside Damiani Mitchell). In his final season Prince averaged 14.4pts 7rpg 1.5stls and 1ast per game. He totaled 8 games with 15+ pts and 5 games with 10+ reb. Prince’s 4 year development into a college level wing was a pleasure to see. We are proud and excited to support him on the rest of his journey. #ThreeFive #👌🏾🖐🏾
