It was always more than just basketball. ❤️

AAU gave me so much more than a game. It gave me lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, incredible coaches, and a second family. Thank you to every coach who believed in me, pushed me to be better, and never let me settle for less. Thank you to every teammate who became more than just a teammate—you became family. And thank you to my parents and everyone who supported me through every practice, every tournament, every road trip, every win, and every loss. None of this would’ve been possible without you.

My journey wasn’t exactly how I imagined it would be. Tearing my ACL and missing two AAU seasons was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. It would’ve been easy to step away, but basketball has always been a part of who I am. Even when I couldn’t be on the court, I stayed involved, cheered my teammates on, and learned that this game is about so much more than playing. It taught me patience, resilience, and how to keep showing up even when life doesn’t go your way.

Looking back, I wouldn’t change a single thing. Of course I wish I could’ve played those seasons, but every setback shaped me into the person I am today. The relationships I’ve built, the lessons I’ve learned, and the memories I’ve made are worth more than I could ever put into words.

Thank you, AAU, for helping me grow not only as a basketball player, but as a person. This chapter may be ending, but everything it gave me will stay with me forever. I’ll always be grateful for every moment, every lesson, and every person who was part of this journey.

Thank you for the best years. ❤️🏀

There’s no better way to spend your time, your points, or your life than with family—the kind you’re born into and the kind your parents chose. My Michigan family is exactly that—chosen long ago, and still rock solid to this day. The love runs deep and the gratitude is even deeper.

So blessed to have shared this time together.
Happy Birthday to Ryan, Gary, and Autumn!
I love y’all to the moon and back! 💫💛
