April dump!!! Thank you everyone for being in it! Brief description of our highlights- Museum cohort went to Kansas City and Chicago! Got to really know each other and the museum collections fairly well! We even got to see the Benton house @thomashartbenton and visit Megan Williamson’s studio @meganwilliamson__art (separate trip) Mario Kart is king of all games. Got to lead a brief demo at the @theluminaryarts thank you for the opportunity. Maryville students visited our studio! And we went to SLAM together and looked at paintings. @stlartmuseum Town Hall meeting was amazing. We were able to get a lot of valuable feedback and insights from our community and it will help us apply for grants with much more clarity this year:) #art #community #chicago #kansascity #midwest #education #classes #artmuseum

Third year into our operation, JPA is steadily growing its dynamic community. As we enter into the grant writing season, it is really important that we integrate the needs and vision of our members and make sure that we evolve together. Our school cannot be without our students and supporters. We are excited to open up new ways of engaging with you all by continuing to improve our events and course offerings ❤️ We are so lucky to have our love for art, teaching, and community take on the form of a business. Thank you for being here🐍 #Community #art #artschool #stl #stlartist #stlart
