Ana Andjelic and I first met at a Sociology of Business dinner she hosted in the private dining room at Bridges. We quickly realized we shared a passion for brand building and community. From there, Tasteful was born: an intimate one-day gathering rooted in connection and curiosity. During my seven years at Momofuku, I had a courtside seat to what I call the “Restaurant Renaissance.” I watched as restaurants evolved from places to eat into cultural and status symbols. How did they do it? And what can other industries learn from their success? With the help of Max Meighen of Serviette Magazine (@serviettemagazine) and our partners Cargo Crew (@cargocrew) and AirOps (@airops_hq), we brought together more than 175 influential leaders across fashion, food, and hospitality at the historic Cherry Lane Theatre (@cherrylanetheatre) to explore how our favorite food and fashion brands build cultural relevance and turn it into commercial success in a digital era. Guests also helped themselves to our Tasteful Marketplace, a choose-your-own-adventure takeaway moment featuring some of our favorite brands. Thank you to every guest, panelist, moderator, sponsor, and partner who helped bring Tasteful to life. Last week, we celebrated the launch of @Kickstarter’s new Fashion Advisory Board with our “Future in the Making” dinner in NYC. Grateful to everyone who joined us for such a special evening. Présentée au Storm King Art Center, la collection de Hillary Taymour immerge les silhouettes dans le paysage, entre herbe, ciel, sculptures et mouvement. Une réflexion sur les chemins que l’on choisit, ceux que l’on nous impose et la liberté de s’en écarter.
