same time next summer?

As the summer comes to an end, words can barely describe my experience. In all honesty, it was hard and tiring and there were moments when I just wanted to go home, but knowing that we were serving the church in such a special and unique way made all the difference. I am so grateful for everyone I met through this experience and all that I learned about myself and others. So many people poured into me this summer in ways that I will never forget and that will continue to impact me for years to come.

This experience has deepened my appreciation for CIY. I am in awe of this organization all the more, not just as a past student but seeing everything behind the scenes as well. They truly embody the phrase we heard so often: "always the bridesmaid, never the bride". Thank you for everything CIY!! @ciymove

THE LORD IS SO GOOD & I AM SO GRATEFUL.

This summer & tour has been full of rejoicing & weeping. It’s been full of many lessons. Learning to live in the uncomfortable. Learning to find joy in the mundane and giggle more. Learning to find gratitude amidst the hard. Learning to connect with those that have vast differences from me. Learning to embrace a challenge and learn new things. Learning to seek curiosity in the unknown and walk in confidence because the Lord has GOOD plans. Learning to serve those around me humbly and sacrificially. Learning that it is for Him & His kingdom and not my own ambitions. Learning that kingdom work can be found anywhere!!!

What a gift to get to be the hands and feet of Jesus and serve His people, and watch His people step into a life with Him through kingdom work. I am in awe of how the Lord meets His children and so full of gratitude that He does meet us and let us love and serve Him.

Every morning, as we prayed over the students at MOVE I was reminded of this truth, “You alone can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine, to you be the glory in this generation now and forever, AMEN”.

HE CAN DO IMMEASURABLY MORE & THIS SUMMER WAS A TESTAMENT TO THAT. YAY FOR CIY. YAY FOR THE LORD!!!!!!

Thank you, CIY 2026 TN8. 🤍 Wow, wow, wow. I couldn’t feel more blessed than I do right now.

I am so, so, so grateful for every person God placed in my life this week. He worked in so many incredible ways.

One story that especially impacted me was about a girl named Michelle. She started an organization called Con Mis Manos, which means “With My Hands.” It is a deaf ministry in Mexico that teaches sign language while sharing the Word of God. Michelle showed me that even when life is hard, I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

Before this trip, I had so many doubts about college and what my life would look like after this summer. But now I know that even in the hard seasons, God is with me, and He has a plan for my life.

Thank you, CIY, for an unforgettable week. I am beyond grateful for everything you poured into me. And most of all, thank You, God, for everything You taught me and for all that You poured into my heart this week. 🤍 @ciymove @christinyouth

A lot happened on this trip!
1. I got on stage night one!
2. Logan was so kind as to let Maddie and I tag along on Stage B!
3. I got 2 extra orders of fries from wingstop
4. I did awful at bowling
5. I had the best time worshiping with the best people
6. I won Frank the Alien then gave him away to our Emcee Cam
7. I got closer to so many people in my group
8. I got to witness so many people give their life to Christ for the first time and i got to watch people rededicate their life to Christ
9. I learned so much and had the time of my life!
10. Finally, the most important, I officially committed to Vocational Ministry and got to share an amazing moment with Trevor when he passed the baton onto me!

I’m so lucky to have God in my life because what a life it is! Because He’s with me, I am a Kingdom Worker, I am Loved, I am Saved, I am Changed, and I am Sent.

Jesus loves you and so do I.

CIY MOVE 2026 will now forever hold a special place in my heart.❤️ Jesus did things I never would be able to do on my own and I’m so grateful for that. I’ve never felt the love of Jesus so much than I did on this trip and I will forever cherish it during my walk with Christ. But if it wasn’t for the people on the trip I wouldn’t be where I am today. Before coming to CIY and months prior I questioned what god blessed me with then when I was on this trip I realized he gave me a 2nd family,a church family and that I am forever grateful for. There will never be words or pictures to describe what Jesus did on this trip for and for a lot of people but I know that if one thing is certain is that yhere is no other option for me but the lord and his love bc without that I would be lost. CIY 2026 you were and always will be the best✝️❤️

CIY MOVE 2026!!
This year really hit me. There were a lot of tears, laughter, and deep conversations. I took a lot of big steps to be more bold in my faith and I plan to continue that after coming home from the high of church camp. The community I had with my group brought me a lot of comfort that I’m not alone in my walk. They taught me the value of having a group that you can depend on. I thank everyone that I was with for making this year so meaningful. I pray that all of us remember we are loved, rescued, changed, and sent as kingdom workers to where we are now! Ephesians 2:10 ✝️💐#ciymove #wwjd #churchcamp

"For we are God's masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do"
- Ephesians 2:10

So thankful for this years message and the experiences I've had. I'm heartbroken to say that this is my final outing with Towne Souths youth group until the day I come home as a leader. Thank you for giving me an amazing week to grow in and to better prepare me to be a kingdom worker in these next few weeks.
