They were right — the sunset was beautiful!

College you’ve shaped me in ways I’m only beginning to understand. I’ll never stop looking back with a grateful heart at all the memories and learned lessons.

Our final Senior Spotlight of the semester is our former Secretary Connor Monroe! Connor is from Houston, TX and is a graduating with a major in psychology and minor in biology. Other than serving on our executive officer core, he held several chair positions including marshall, tailgate, parents weekend, prayer and security. He was also a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Society.

• Why did you rush BYX?
I rushed BYX because I knew I wanted to find dudes that I could share fun moments with and also share the hard parts of life with all while pointing me to Jesus. I wanted to experience a fraternal brotherhood with Jesus being a common bond between all members.”

• What has BYX given you in return?
“BYX has given me my brothers for life. It has given me a group of guys who challenge me everyday to be a better man of God in the way I act, speak, and carry myself. The man I am today is very large in part due to the men I surrounded myself with in BYX these past four years and for that I am forever grateful.”

Connor has truly blessed our chapter throughout his time at OU, and we are so excited for what the Lord has planned for the him, and the rest of our graduating seniors!
