A brigade of front-row debuts added buzz to Matthieu Blazy’s Spring/Summer 27 show, which marked his first anniversary as artistic director of Chanel.

The Gabrielle Chanel-centred show took flight in Grand Palais in Paris. He transformed the historic landmark into a southern Italian village where he spends his vacations through a dreamy installation of a glowing moon surrounded by a flock of luminescent birds suspended mid-flight, evoking the open sky and freedom in Mademoiselle’s multifaceted life.
