Today is really tough. I’m going to miss you a lot, I’m so grateful for the person you were and the way you made people feel seen & heard.

Twenty years.
Twenty years of laughter, tears, mistakes, memories, milestones, and a friendship that never wavered.
I’ve lost people along the way. Some friendships faded, some ended, and life pulled others in different directions. But through everything, Courtney remained. Loyal. Selfless. Constant.
Tonight, as my beautiful best friend fights her final battle with stomach cancer, I’m reminded that the greatest gift in this life isn’t money, success, or status. It’s the people who choose to love us through every season.
Courtney, thank you for standing beside me for two decades. Thank you for every phone call, every hug, every laugh, every moment you carried me when I didn’t think I could carry myself.
The world will never truly know how much goodness it is losing.
Hold your people a little tighter tonight. Say “I love you” more often. Forgive quicker. Life is heartbreakingly short.
I love you, Court. Always. ❤️
