A special THANK YOU to my mentee, Pastor Ciarra Bond-Smith, and the Faith Community Baptist Church for inviting me back for the second year in a row to facilitate your Leadership Training!

What a powerful, transparent, and engaging session! We had real conversations, honest reflection, and meaningful dialogue, all while creating an environment where learning was enjoyable, interactive, and inspiring.

My goal is always to make sure leaders leave not just inspired, but equipped with practical tools, greater self-awareness, fresh perspective, and strategies they can actually apply to their leadership and ministry.

Thank you for trusting me with your leaders and creating space for growth, accountability, transformation, and joyful learning.

It is always an honor to serve you!

This week, the Journey for Change Board came together to reflect on how far we’ve come and where we’re headed next.

We had the opportunity to watch clips from The Richmond Slave Trail: A Journey Toward Understanding, discuss the film’s progress, and dream together about the impact we hope this story will have throughout Richmond and beyond.

We’re getting closer to the finish line, but there’s still work to do. One of our immediate goals is to raise $15,000 to help complete the film and prepare it to reach the community.

We’re grateful for a board that believes in this story, asks the important questions, and continues to help move the vision forward.

🎥 The journey continues and we’re excited about what’s ahead.

If you believe in the importance of preserving this history and creating space for understanding, healing, and conversation, we invite you to journey with us.

It was an honor to be part of the planning committee and work alongside such an amazing group of friends. Everyone came together to make this celebration so special including her husband and brother preparing an incredible meal.

Happy 40th, Ciarra! Wishing you nothing but love, peace, prosperity, confidence, and God’s richest blessings as you step into this next chapter. Keep blooming! 🤍✨🌸

So grateful for this girl right here… truly one of God’s sweetest gifts in my life. Thank you for being the real definition of a friend — loyal, loving, present, and so full of grace. A godmother who pours into Gabe, a confidant who guards my heart, and a woman who shows up even when life is showing out.

Thank you for staying consistent when the world gets inconsistent… for challenging me to think different, pray deeper, and grow stronger. Doing life with you makes the heavy days feel lighter and the good days feel even sweeter 🙌🏽🫶🏽

You could be standing in the middle of a whole tornado and still throw your arm out to block a single raindrop from hitting me — that’s the kind of love you give 😅❤️

I thank God for you, for your spirit, and for the covering you are in my life.
I love you
Ciarra Smith-Bond 💕

Thank you, Pastor Ciarra Smith-Bond, for the opportunity to share with the leaders of Faith Community Baptist Church. Saturday was good to me! The atmosphere was charged, the vision was clear, and the leaders came in hungry, expectant, and ready to receive.

This wasn’t just another leadership training but a divine moment of clarity, growth, and strengthening. It was a call to action, a recommissioning, and a powerful reminder that leadership is not about position; it’s about serving, stewarding vision, and building people.

I’m genuinely grateful to have played a small part in God's work in and through this house. The legacy continues, and the work is sacred.
