With WHERE_SHADOWS_DON’T_EXIST_ Culi. didn’t just drop a first album ,he built a narrative universe around it.

He wrote and produced everything himself. Developed the visuals. Created a physical fairytale that runs parallel to the music. Even integrated voice-acted interludes to make the live show feel like a continuous story.

CONTROL_ sits at a pivotal point in that arc. In the fairytale, the protagonist believes escape is the answer, chasing a mythic land without shadows. But the further he runs, the more he loses himself. The tension you hear in this track, the fragile high vocal opening, the drums grounding it, the push between instability and structure, mirrors that moment of false direction.

It’s not just a rock-leaning track with a catchy chorus. It’s a chapter.

And that’s what makes this debut different: the songs aren’t built for quick consumption. They function inside a larger confrontation.

Few shows. No inflated rollout. Just a young artist with full creative control, choosing depth over speed.

Bite-sized tune: Culi. - CONTROL_

Tessa Rose Jackson - The Lighthouse
